Druk filmfest screens Iran ‘After the Incident’

Iranian movie ‘After the Incident’ has been screened at the Druk International Film Festival in Bhutan.

In its 10th international screening, the film directed by Pourya Heydari-Oureh, represented Iran at the 2021 edition of the festival.

Shahab Hosseini, Javad Ezzati and Bahram Afshari star in the film.

The all-star cast movie is about a child’s wish to score a goal against Esteqlal football team, with a number of prominent footballers also appearing in the film.

"Druk International Film Festival (DIFF) is a monthly live screening film, music, and screenwriting competition with a live Annual Screening & Awards Show Event in the land of natural paradise Paro in Bhutan.

The sole purpose of DIFF is to celebrate the joy of creation in the lap of nature. DIFF showcases an outstanding presentation of independent filmmaking, while also building a strong sense of community around the art of visual storytelling," the official website of the film wrote.

The annual screening of the event wrapped up on December 30, 2021.
